WHO ARE WE?  VFW Auxiliary members are the relatives of those who have served in overseas combat.  We support our veterans, military and their families, and our community. We also spread patriotism nationwide. There are nearly a half million members representing all 50 states. Our auxiliary currently has over 950 members, the fourth largest Auxiliary in the Nation.

HOW DO WE PROVIDE SUPPORT? 

Financial: contributing to the National Home for Children, Cancer Fund, the USO, Wreaths Across America, and the Home of the Brave I and II participating in Stand-Downs and assisting homeless veterans

Legislative: assisting the VFW to pass or block legislation that impacts veterans and their families

Emotional: visiting veterans in VA hospitals, nursing homes and veterans homes participating in Operation Cookie Drop off for our troops  spreading the word about PTSD and military/veteran suicide awareness  assembling and mailing care packages to active-duty troops

Community and Education: offering youth scholarships and educating youth about the American Flag and patriotism spreading patriotism and educating our communities   participating in Memorial Day parades as well as hosting Veterans and Memorial Day ceremonies  providing Easter, Halloween and Christmas parties for children  making annual contributions to many charities, including the Salvation Army, Alzheimer’s Research, Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
